Hello, Jhall1998.

Thank you for posting.

I am sorry, but we cannot give referrals to doctor and specialists. Your primary care doctor can refer you to a specialist or you can use Google search to see what doctors might be nearby.

Mitral valve prolapse (MVP) is considered the most common valvular heart lesion in adult females of reproductive age. Women who have a heart valve disease and want to become pregnant do have some special considerations. How much a heart valve disease increases risks during pregnancy depends on the type of valve disease and how bad it is. If you have a heart valve disease (and/or other medical issues) and are considering pregnancy, talk to your doctor. Ask your doctor if being pregnant might cause any health problems as they know the specifics of your health.
