Hi, PreciousMoment.
You are safest having sex after ovulation, but the problem is pinpointing the ovulation. And since sperm can live 72 hours or more, and an egg can live between 24-48 hours, you have to allow extra days on each side of ovulation to avoid pregnancy. So yes, there's still a possibility of pregnancy if you have unprotected sex in that fourth stage of your cycle. It is less likely, but possible.
What sort of pain are you talking about? Can you be more specific? Is it inside you (like it might be coming from your uterus or ovaries) or more outside on your genital area? Is it constant or did it go away? Is it a sharp pain or dull?

Your account is a little confusing. The following is an approximation of a normal cycle (can be around 28 days)
Days 1-12 - approximate length of a normal menstrual cycle
Days 13-14 - approximate time of ovulation
Days 15-22 - when fertilization can occur - this is when you can get pregnant
Days 22-first day of your next period - estrogen and progesterone production drops and your next period begins, unfertilized eggs are shed with the inner lining of the uterus (endometrium)
Again, you need to know when you're ovulating, if you're concerned about becoming pregnant.
Please see: Understanding your menstrual cycle for more details.

If you're asking if it's safe to have sex during and immediately after your period, yes. You need to know when you ovulate, if you're worried about when it's most likely that you'll become pregnant.
