I am walking down the aisle in less than 90 days (eek!) what are some exercises that will quickly tone my body before the wedding?

I currently do P90X3 and got great results in 3 months. There is also 3 Day Refresh from beachbody that people have lost several pounds and inches to help boost their fitness. It takes 6 weeks to develop muscles so you may get a little toned before your wedding. If you start now you can continue after your wedding too! LMK if you would like more info! I can help you find the right program for you!

You should be careful about doing a quick weight loss for wedding. Nutritionist Denise Reynolds specifically warns against it.

See what she writes at Emaxhealth.

" but resorting to drastic measures such as fad diets or pills for quick weight loss before a wedding is not only dangerous, but it also is a short-term fix. Losing weight the right way can help the happy couple live healthier “till death do us part.”"

Hi Ali!

Thank you for sharing your question on EmpowHER! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding, that is such exciting news!!

There are several effective workouts you can try out to get your body toned for your special day. Circuit training, especially high-intensity circuit training, is a great workout method to try if you want to get quick results that show. Circuit training is great because it transitions you between different moves that help you focus on all regions and muscles on the body.

Circuit training uses weights, cardio and your own body weight to help target specific areas. Try downloading the Nike Training Club mobile app. It has some great circuit workouts ranging from 15, 30 and 45 minutes, and they show great results. You can even find workouts that target specific areas like arms, legs, butt and abs.

Even simple things like taking the stairs instead of the elevator and walking for a few minutes each day can help make a difference.

Also remember to keep up healthy eating habits these last few months! I know it may be difficult, but try limiting processed foods and eating out too often if you want all of your hard work from exercising to show.

Hope this gave some helpful tips for getting in shape for your wedding! EmpowHER wishes you a wonderful wedding, and keep us posted on your special day!

Best,

Erin
