Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

Many medications cause a bad taste or sensation in the mouth. For the medicine you are taking, RXList states that common side effects include:

nausea,
diarrhea,
frequent bowel movements,
vomiting,
abdominal pain or discomfort,
decreased appetite,
indigestion,
fatigue,
constipation,
gas,
bloating,
gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD),
weakness/lack of energy,
feeling unwell (malaise),
belching, and
low blood sugar (hypoglycemia).

Anon - nausea, belching, heartburn, nausea etc can all cause a bad taste in the month.

Consult your doctor for more information and report this side effect to him/her.
Best,
Susan
