I am 25 years old, I have been taking birth control since I was 18. I skipped 3 days of pills (a weds, thurs, and friday) On Thursday we had sex and he came inside of me, on Saturday we had sex again and he pulled out. The first timd we had sex was the 24th of the month and the 2nd was the 26th of the month. The first day of my last period was the 14th of the month. I am also taking an antibiotic that lessens the effectiveness of the pill. What are the chances that I became pregnant?

Hi, I am going to miss 3 days but it's because I finished my last pack on Friday at 9pm. My pharmacy was closed ( for reasons unknown ), they're always closed on Sundays and Monday is labor day...so they're definitely closed.

I can only get them tuesday. Is it okay if I take the 3 pills ASAP on tuesday, take another pill at 9 pm Tuesday then continue ?

Hello Anonymous,

If you were not going to resume taking the pills until yesterday, just take one pill each day. Either discard the two doses now or at the end of week three.

Hello Anonymous,

Make up for the missed doses. Use back up protection for seven days.

hi, I lost my pack of pills and I cant remember how many days left. All I can remember is I was not able to take 3 days in a row. on the 2nd day, we had sex with my husband. but on the 4th day I started taking a new set. Will I get pregnant? When will I be safe after taking a new set? thanks in advance.

Hello Anonymous,

If you did not make up for the missed doses and did not use back up protection, there is a chance that you did become pregnant.

You could speak with your gynecologist. Or, wait for withdrawal bleeding before starting a new pack.

Hi! I just came here in us. I'm taking birth control pills Althea (21pills) for my PCOS and contraceptive. When I arrived here in us, just when I realized I forgot to bring the remaining pills that I need to take so I have to opened the new pack. So, I used the 4 pills in the new pack. I asked my relatives from the Ph to send me more since I'm not yet under insurance to see a doctor here. So I used my remaining pills but then I didn't get the package on time. So I missed my sat-Monday 18th-20th pills. Then I took the 21th day pill. Sat got unprotected sex he came inside of me then sun and mon unprotected sex but he did withdrawal. I'm having my withdrawal bleeding now Wednesday. Could I be pregnant? What do I need to do? Can I start a new pack pills?

Hello Anonymous,

If you are having withdrawal bleeding, you did not become pregnant.

Once the bleeding has stopped, start a new pack.

So I stopped taking my birth control pills on Saturday in the second week and when I first starting taking my pills and missing to take them my boyfriend and I were intimate so I was wondering what I should do and if I could be pregnant?
