Guide

Hello, Anon! Thank you for posting.

There are many reasons for breast pain, fibrocystic changes, cysts, Costochondritis, or costosternal syndrome (an inflammation of the cartilage that connects the ribs and breastbone), infection, chest or chest wall pain that may feel like it's coming from the breast, among other causes. Any sudden, sharp pain that is not going away or worsening, should be evaluated by a doctor.
