If you had the shingles vaccine, it's probably not shingles, unless it's a mild outbreak of it. A rash can be caused, directly or indirectly, by a bacterial, viral or fungal infection. Bug bites can often cause a rash, as can poison ivy, (though you say it's not very itchy). So, it can be hard to pin down the cause. Below is a resource that might help. If the rash worsens, see your doctor.
