Q:

I have long groves in my scalp that are horny like where Tufts of hair try to grow through. I can pick at it it is numb. It started out as scale patches. Now it is hard I can dig it out with my nails. Then it crusts up in places. Sometimes bleeds.

I also have microscopic lines running from my scalp running down my forehead all the way down my face and neck shoulders and chest and body. Some times I feel like a bee has stung me.. just not as hurtful and it last for a few seconds. This started after a psychiatrist prescribed me medication for buying polar disorder. I was later diagnosed correctly as ADHD. The medication was Resperdol.

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER.

These are very interesting symptoms. Does your physician think they were caused by the medication or is this a unique scalp and skin condition?

Regards,
Maryann
