Hello, Anon!

Thank you for writing today.

For the benefit of our readers, ischemic colitis occurs when blood flow to part of the large intestine (colon) is reduced, usually due to narrowed or blocked blood vessels (arteries). The diminished blood flow doesn't provide enough oxygen for the cells in your digestive system. A liquid diet is recommended, initially, to allow the colon to rest as it heals. Generally, no specific diet is recommended after healing, beyond maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle, including not smoking.

I can give you some resources that I hope will be helpful. Copy/paste the links.
