For the last 3 months I have been getting excruciating pains in between my shoulder blades and its really sensitive if I touch my spine. I have been getting headaches and my arms tend to get a tingling sensation. I take anti inflammatories but this only helps for a while. Has my vertebrae moved? I also have Ankylosing Spondylitis.

Hi Lallie,
Thanks for your question and for finding EmpowHER. Given the persistence of your pain and your condition, my initial though is to contact your doctor and explain what you're experiencing to them to see how they think you should perceive.
I did send a message to a nurse that has worked with the website in the past to see if she has any ideas.
Good luck and let us know what you find out. Likewise, I'll let you know when I hear from our other resource.
In the meantime, check out our AS page for more articles and information about coping with this condition: Ankylosing Spondylitis page
