Best to ask your doctor what could be done about it. Different causes of discoloration entail different methods of clearing them up. You'd probably be referred to a dermatologist for treatment. I hope all goes well! :)

Hi Anon,
Thank you for sharing your question with the EmpowHER community.
In most cases, skin discoloration fades after you finish treatment. One thing to remember is to void harsh soaps that have a lot of fragrance; instead use fragrance-free soaps with moisturizers (such as Dove).
If you're concerned about a change in the color of your skin, talk to your doctor, he/she may be able to recommend a product line or an esthetician.
