Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. This is a question you should ask your physician, who removed the ingrown toenail two years ago. Is your doctor aware of this?

Ingrown toenails are a common condition in which the corner or side of a toenail grows into the soft flesh. I am not aware of changes to the actual nail as a complication of this condition.

Please keep us updated once you have consulted your doctor.
Regards,
Maryann
