I had breast ca with bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction with implants. Do I still need to get mammograms.

Thanks. That is what I thought. No point in scanning implants is there?

Thank you for writing.

Generally speaking, women who have had a bilateral mastectomy do not need further mammograms in their lives as all the breast tissue has been removed. Confirm this with your doctor.
