Hi thunder,

Welcome to EmpowHER.

Treatment involves medicines, diet, and exercise to control blood sugar and prevent symptoms and problems.  Here are some tips on how to keep your sugar in it's level. But it's important to talk to your doctor and let him know how you feel in getting the shots.

  • Eat about the same amounts of food each day.
  • Eat your meals and snacks at about the same times each day.
  • Do not skip meals or snacks.
  • Take your medicines at the same times each day.
  • Exercise at about the same times each day.
  • Here's a link that might be helpful
