NEVER WET SHAVE IS ONE WAY TO COMBAT DARKENED SKIN
Shaving with a razor blade is one surefire way to induce pigmentation changes in the skin. Prolonged damage and irritation from scraping away the top skin layer - the epidermis, along with unwanted hair using any razor blade, is well known to cause skin color changes and this may get to be permanent.
My advice is to shave dry with a new type of electric body shaver like the Bare It All personal body shaver at www.BestBodyShaver.com. It has a special foil so the blades do not touch the skin and cause the usual irritation, red bumps and ingrown hairs.
As for the skin color don't waste your time or money with remedies like lemon juice or the cremes that are supposed to lighten or bleach the skin. They either do not work or are so harsh that they further damage your skin with the chemicals in them.
