Hello. Thank you for posting.

Macular degeneration causes a loss in the center of the field of vision. In dry macular degeneration, the center of the retina deteriorates. With wet macular degeneration, leaky blood vessels grow under the retina. Blurred vision is a key symptom. Below is a link to more information.    Check with your eye physician about your weight lifting concern. I can find no information on that, in regards to wet MD.

Thanks for your comments. I called the doctor's office and they said that the issue is straining so lifting is ok but when I have to hold my breath while lifting or to strain while lifting, it cause pressure on the leaky blood vessel and can cause problems
