There is no set number of carbs that define a low carb diet. Some diets vary from 40 grams per day to 60 grams - some are a little more than that.
There are many diet plans for a low-carb diet, like Keto and Atkins. Atkins can start with as little as 20 grams per day to adding more carbs as you progress with the program. Find a plan that works for you and your lifestyle. A nutritionist can help.
