Guide

Hello. Thank you for posting.

To relieve some discomfort and to fight any bacteria, be sure to rinse your mouth with salty warm water every few hours. Ice packs against the side of your mouth can also help the pain.
Taking over the counter pain medication such as Aleve, Ibuprofen or Tylenol. Avoid sugary or spicy foods that might irritate the tooth. Topical anesthetics like Ambosol can give temporary pain relief. See your dentist as soon as you can.
