Hello, Anon! Thank you for posting.

Washing with soap and water once a day is usually sufficient for keeping the vaginal area clean. I can see why you might have dryness if you are washing every time you use the bathroom. Are you using soap and water each time? Or just water?

You can buy a vaginal moisturizer (like Replens) at your local drugstore or supermarket. Many women use this for vaginal dryness, mostly, that is causing discomfort during sex. Rather than using soap/water try using moisturizing cleansing cloths instead. There are many brands to choose from, some are sold in travel size packets you can carry in your purse. I know you say it's your religion but if this becomes very uncomfortable for you, you might have to rethink the frequent washing. See your doctor if you suspect you might have a vaginal infection or the dryness does not get better.

best,

Helena
