Periods confirm there is no pregnancy; you need to take a pregnancy test to confirm this if you want peace of mind. Some women like to see an actual test result. Periods are missed for many reasons besides pregnancy including a hormonal imbalance. Since it has been two months now, your doctor can do some blood tests to see what's going on.
