I'm prone to sore throats during flu season and was wondering if anyone has tried slippery elm and had much success? Sometimes, my throat is so sore, I find it hard to sleep. Thanks.

Thank you for your question, I am just as eager to know if anyone has tried these and recommends them. At their mere $2-$3 for a 24 pack price-- I definitely think they are worth a try!
I find that a lot of the other brand name throat lozenges work. And like others, take a couple before you actually start to feel relief. However, I did read a review on Amazon about Slippery Elm throat lozenges that says it feels as though it "coats your throat" which is a great thing, in my opinion.
Good Luck getting more recommendations and feedback on Slippery Elms.
