I've heard endless stories about Botox. I have lines around my lips and eyes, i've heard it works really well around these areas, is this true?

Hi Kelly McCarthy,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Botox cosmetic is used for the temporary smoothing of glabellar lines which are the lines between the eyebrows. It is FDA approved to be used in this area only. When used off label, for horizontal forehead lines, crow's feet, marionette lines at the corner of the mouth. During your consultation your dermatologist will decide where and if botox is right for you. Hope this has helped?

Best,

Daisy
