Hi Anonymous,
Thank you for your question and for finding EmpowHER. This really sounds like questions to ask your doctor. Make sure to voice your concerns, and ask for options for dealing with symptoms. There are some great resources here at EmpowHER for dealing with perimenopausal symtoms. Be your own best advocate, and you may not want to wait for the "explosion". Call your doctor today and ask for an appointment and advice on what to do since you stopped taking your medication. It's possible this medication wasn't the right fit for you and there is something else that may work for you. Try not to get discouraged. There are so many options out there that there is hope you can find the right fit.
Good luck and let us know how else we can help.
