I read everything related to my question but hard to be helpful as my situation is different. I'm 38yrs old, I had a total hysterectomy in 1997,so, I have no menstrual cycle. I'm not sexually active, the lay time I had sex was probably 6mths ago, I have no burning, itching, pain, etc., but I too have daily discharge that's thick-milky, white with a foul odor& sometimes out of nowhere mine too will gush out so I have to go“clean up”.its constant and smelly, where-as, I have always spent my life bragging & being complimented that mine was so clean and NEVER, EVER HAD ANYTHING other than a totally pleasant odor-less quality! Now I no longer will have intercourse as it has been"smelly" for 6mths or more! What should this be I'm going crazy....so re-cap, # 1, TOTAL HYSTERECTOMY(no menstruation)

# 2, No burning, itching, nothing-no pain
# 3, No sexual activity
# 4, nasty white/milky discharge thick & regular throughout day
# 5, Sudden momentary bursts of gross discharge in large amount needs cleaned up instantly
# 6, nasty unpleasant odor, sometimes"onion-y" Mostly "fishy"!
Please PLEASE HELP I WANT TO HAVE SEX BUTTTTT NOT WHEN IT SMELLS & I DON'T KNOWER WHAT'S WRONG.
Is it possible I have an STD THAT WON'T GO AWAY?

Hi Kandypruitt,
Thank you for your question and for joining EmpowHER. We are not doctors, so we can't diagnose you. You may want to see a doctor when you have that discharge, it could be an infection of some sort, which can happen even if you have had a total hysterectomy.
Good luck and let us know how you are doing.
