When I am making my review for my upcoming exam, my hands were already tired, but when I look to my hands, I saw my hands already out of blood(because it's getting black) then my fingertip and nail have a dark spot on it, then after that I relaxed my hands then the blood flows again into my hand then my fingertip and nail are already back to normal, after a few minutes it back again. How shoul I treat it?

Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. I am glad you reached out to our community with this.

Fatigue will not stop blood flow to your hands. Were they really black? When fingers, hands, toes and feet turn black in color, that is a sign of necrosis or death of living tissue caused by loss of blood supply, corrosion, burning, or the local lesion of a disease.

You mention that when you relaxed your hands, blood flow returns and the color returns to normal.

Anonymous, were you constricting blood flow at your wrist? Did this cause your fingers and hands to appear blue?

I think you need to speak with your primary care physician. This should not be happening.

Regards,
Maryann
