clogged ear & jaw pain

I recently went to the pool and as I was sitting along the side it seemed to feel like my left ear went totally deaf! Later that afternoon I got a terrible jaw pain along the same side.. I have tried ear drops, Q-tips, streaching my jaw, massaging around the ear and nothing has worked. Its been 3 days and only the pain has subsided.

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  It's important to get seen or checked by a specialist such as an ENT.  You might have an infection due to fluid in the ear. Hope this was helpful?
