According to the American Diabetes Ass. It's more how much juice you drink than the kind of juice. If you choose to drink juice, be sure the label says it is 100% juice with no sugar added. Juice provides a lot of carbohydrates in a small portion, so be sure to count it in your meal plan. Usually, about 4 ounces or less of juice contains at least 15 grams of carbohydrate and 50 or more calories.
