I believe we have head lice again very clean people that live in the country so wild animals are all around and my dog's are treated for ticks and fleas but being so active and in and out of lake medicine don't keep the fleas and ticks away always. And with farmers filds the mice are a huge problem last two years my daughter is in k only 6 hair is past her waist long beautiful just wondering now if it is not coming from school but from our dogs or mice problem

Head lice usually spread from one person to another by close head-to-head contact or contact with an infested person's grooming tools. Hair lice can pass from person to person when people share personal items, such as combs, towels, clothing, hats, and hairbrushes. Lice are not spread by dogs, cats, or other pets.
