well my doctor prescribed canesten 6 day treatment for me after having a yeast infection , he also gave me a capsule called mycosyst 200mg (FLUCONAZOLE) to take immediately.

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER. You should be able to use your cream during your menstrual cycle or if it's best for you, just wait until your period is done. Depending on your diagnosis, your doctor would be able to inform you better as to how you should use your medication.
