Had blood work done my blood sugar, hemp came back AC1, it was 5.8, is that high. I'm a 73 year female, maybe 20 pounds overweight . I work in my hard, I walk three time a week 2 miles, trying to cut all sugar out, but one of my delights at this age is having a glass of red wine at night. Do I have to give this up, or is there substitute I can have instead of wine? I go back 4 weeks from now to have it blood work done again. Can you share any insight into my dlemina. I am 5'2 and 150 pounds.
