I had a sciatica injection over 4 months ago.The day after I was very itchy on my lower back and legs, now its on my arms. It itches very much,If I'm not careful I will wake up at night and have a scratching attack. Which makes the area more itchy.
My Doctor wants to have me take gabapentin or Lyrica or at least the nurse says this. s there any possibility that it's an allergy?

Hello. Thank you for posting.

It does sound like you are having a reaction to something. Fibromyalgia causes widespread pain, fatigue, and other types of discomfort. Symptoms resemble those of arthritis, but fibromyalgia affects the soft tissue, not the joints. The cause is unknown, but risk factors include traumatic injury, rheumatoid arthritis, and genetic factors.
