It's a very slight stinging pain lasts for about 2 seconds and goes away. I am a hypochondriac. I am very anxious and worried. What can this be ? Can this be cancer. I am worried.

HERWriter Guide

Hello Sa

Thank you for writing.

We are unable to to tell you what this pain is - it could be hormonally related - meaning it's connected to your menstrual cycle. At 22, it's not likely to be cancer but we cannot tell you for sure. It could be due to many things including birth control, caffeine use, an infection or an ingrown hair. Your doctor can help you further, if you are concerned. Also talk to him/her about your hypochondria - there are ways they can help.
Best,
Susan
