Guide

Hello Sheira,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern.

I suggest you schedule an appointment with your primary care physician to have a physical breast examination, mammogram or an ultrasound of the breast.

Nipple discharge in a woman who is not pregnant or breast feeding is not necessarily serious but should be evaluated. It may be the result of hormonal changes associated with perimenopause.

Regards,
Maryann
