Hello! What does it mean when you experienced pain and bleeding after sex? I am not sexually active but when I had sex one time, I felt pain everytime he thrust ( pelvic area ) and I experienced bleeding after. What could be the causes and how to prevent? Thank you

Hi.
As I say, lubrication may be the cause. Use a water-based lubricant (if needed) and have lots of foreplay before sex to make sure you are wet/excited enough. Hope this helps!

Hi, Anon.
Thank you for your post.
Your cervix is usually the source of bleeding brought on by vaginal sex. If the cells of your cervix are inflamed or abnormal, sexual intercourse can cause enough friction to induce vaginal bleeding. Bleeding after sexual intercourse can also occur if the intercourse is excessively rough and painful or if there was not enough lubrication. If it happens again or keeps happening, see your doctor.
