Hi. Im abt to have my first intercourse with my bf. Can i use ecce2 pill after unprotected sex with him? Will it be safe? And tips for first timer please. I know that its said that the pill is for use after unprotected sex. I just wanna make sure.

ECP (emergency contraception) is supposed to be for emergencies (conception failure, an unexpected or unplanned intercourse). It should not be used as a regular birth control method. It can cause irregularity in your cycle. If you are going to have sex and are not on birth control, make sure a condom is used from start to finish.

Hi,
The pills need to be taken within 72 hours. If the second pill is taken within this time it's likely ok, but you need to check with your doctor or pharmacist. Again, they are not to be used as BC.
