About breast discharging clear water..

I want to know the cause and I'd it is dangerous for some one who has never been pregnant.

Thank you for sharing your question with the EmpowHER community.

It is not neccesarily abnormal for a woman who is not pregnant or breast feeding to experience breast discharge, but it's something you should not ignore.It could be a result of menstrual hormone changes. But it could be something more serious.

Here a re a few possible causes of breast discharge are:

  • Abscess
  • Breast Infection
  • Fibroadenoma - a solid, benign mass most common in young women

There are more serious conditions like breast cancer, so you want to get things checked out.
