It is the big unknown...when will I ovulate? There are a few ways that can help you figure out when you ovulate, including tracking your cervical mucus, taking your basal temperature, or using an over-the-counter "ovulation predictor kit".

Please know that women's cycles change month-to-month, so even the most "perfectly" regular cycle (28-day cycle, with ovulation occurring exactly in the middle..on day 14) can change next cycle.

To predict ovulation is not an exact science, and is the reason most experts tell couples who are trying to conceive: have frequent unprotected sex leading up to, and including, the days you expect to ovulate. (frequent meaning every-other day). Women can ovulate as early as "day 7" and as late as "day 21" in their cycle, depending on length of cycle. It is difficult..most women do not know when they ovulate until after-the-fact, as most of the time a menstrual period begins 14 days after ovulation.

We wish you the best of luck in conceiving! Remember it takes most women 6-12 months to conceive, as every cycle you "only" have a 20% chance (assuming under age of 35).
