It is important that your yeast infection is properly treated, so that it is not the same infection coming back! Some yeast infections are difficult to get rid of completely, and you need to have your infection diagnosed with the exact type of organism causing the infection (usually a bacteria), with the specific antibiotic that will treat the specific bacteria. Some antibiotics will not treat yeast infections, and it will keep reoccurring.

Yeast infections are known as the "honeymoon yeast infection" as women who are newly married (and, have sex frequently) can also have frequent yeast infections. Most yeast infections are caused by bacteria, and once you are diagnosed, treated and your yeast infection is "cured", you can practice some preventative measures:
1. Practice oral sex after a bath/shower, after your husband has a clean mouth and fingers
2. Practice oral sex with your partner being more gentle, and making sure he is not transferring bacteria from your perineum (area between your vagina and anus) to your vagina.

See if that helps, and if not, we can talk about other strategies!
