Hi,
If your boyfriend "put his penis inside my vagina", then it sounds like you had sex...right? I'm not sure what "we didn't go all the way" means, as this sounds like it is "all the way". Are you saying he did not ejaculate inside of you..and this is "all the way"? Many couples will withdraw the penis before ejaculating, and this is a type of birth control method..but please know it is still going "all the way" in terms of having sex.

If what you are saying is that you had sex, and it only lasted for a few minutes, but your boyfriend withdrew his penis before he ejaculated, then this is called the withdrawal method of birth control. It is only about 70% effective at preventing pregnancy (compared to using a condom, which is up to 98% effective!).

There is always a chance of pregnancy when having unprotected intercourse, and that is great that you took Plan B. You will need to wait until your next period begins to know if you are pregnant or not (and, unfortunately, Plan B can cause a period to be early or late. You can take a pregnancy test if your period is late).

Does this answer all of your questions?
