I assume your main concern is that you will be wearing a bathing suit, and you obviously do not want to wear a sanitary pad?
Your options are:
- wear a sanitary pad with your bathing suit, and cover up with some cute swim shorts
- wear a tampon
(There are other products out there, like a menstrual cup, but if you do not want to use a tampon, the "cup" could be even more daunting and would take time to get used to--you would want to be close to home for the first time).
