Anon,
What type of hair do you have (curly, straight, long, short, etc), and what products do you currently use? Do you blow dry your hair?

Are you looking for a product for your hair, or something that you can use to help your hair from the inside-out (like a vitamin, for instance)?

If you want something specifically for you hair, the biggest question: How much time/money do you want to spend every day "taming" your hair?

You may want to ask a reputable salon for a consult about your specific hair: type of shampoo/conditioner to use, and styling techniques. (reputable= they're not trying to sell their own brand or most expensive brand).

Most beauty sites I visited said: "Conditioner is a dry-haired person's best friend. In addition to regular conditioner, dry hair will benefit from conditioning oils, deep conditioning treatments, leave-in conditioners, and hair masks. Many of these products require multiple applications before showing results, particularly on very damaged hair, so be patient and consistent."

The links below provide brand-name suggestions (some expensive; others not), along with styling tips:

- Unruly Hair at WikiHow.com

Personally, I have dry, naturally curly hair and use Pantene's curl creme, as well as a "dry formula" conditioner (I think it's Dove brand).

One of the sites above mentioned creating your own blend of conditioner, which includes mayonnaise and other products. I'm not sure if you are interested in your products being free from animal-testing, all organic or allergen-free?? If so, I believe Aveda has some good products...I'll try to find the website that lists the environmentally-friendly products if you're interested.

Let us know what you try!!
