What would you do if you were told that your cancer is inoperable? I joke with my husband that, if anything ever happened to me, just shoot me. Of course, I know he wouldn't; but, I'm not sure what I would do if I heard the word "inoperable." One woman didn't give up and sought another opinion on her rare case of leiomyosarcoma, a tumor buried deep in her abdominal cavity that wrapped around her aorta and arteries supplying blood to her vital organs.

Health Day News reported a remarkable story on a unique surgery involving the removal of the stomach, pancreas, liver, spleen, small intestine and large intestine in order to save a cancer patient's life.
