I have been active all of my life, very active. Until November, 2012, I did 10+ hours/week of Zumba, worked out with weights - often with my son who was the toughest workout partner ever, and danced 12-16 hours on the weekends. November 12, 2012, at age 51, I was in a car accident and for several weeks I was unable to even walk very far but for months I was unable to use my arms. My lower back was injured, causing the leg pain and fatigue, I had blown discs in my neck - causing the pain in my arms and numbness and burning in my hands, and after 8 months, finally had the surgery to replace the discs. I am healing and it is painful, but most of the time I can dance a couple of hours a week, very carefully. I can walk, but I want to run.
