Thank you for your comment.

One thing I would like to address is that many essential oil companies use the correct bottles, brown or blue. This does not mean if you see a brown or blue bottle that it is therapeutic grade essential oil. The essential oils can be diluted with solvents. Always look at the brand, Make sure it is Therapeutic Grade and you can feel confident to use it topically, or digested if directed by the bottle.

The old saying is "What you want to put on your skin should be something you want to put in your mouth". The mistake many make is that all essential oils are safe. Through experience, training, and research, therapeutic oils should be the ONLY type of oils that you put on your skin or take through your mouth.Your skin is the largest organ of the body. These oils are designed to do so and have the assurance the oils have only that product and are kept safe during the processing and selling. With that said, the sales ladies at essential oils counters will argue that all Essential Oils are safe. How do they really know? The biggest give-a-away to their lack of knowledge is selling their oils in clear bottles. Sunlight and UV rays? Producers of safe therapeutic oils know to put their product in brown or dark bottles. Again, before you put that oil on look for the word "therapeutic".

Description

Essential oils, knowns as nature's living energy, are the natural, aromatic violatile liquids found in shrubs, flowers, trees, roots, bushes and seeds. The distrinctive components in essential oils defend plants against insects, environmental conditions and disease. They are also vital for a plant to grow, live, evolve and adapt to its surroundings. Essential oils are extrated from aromatic plant sources via steam distillation, and are highly concentrated and far more potent than dry herbs. While essential oils often have a pleasant aroma, their chemical makeup is complex and benefits vast - which makes them much more than something that simply smells good. Historically, essential oils have played a prominent role in everyday life. With more than 200 references to aromatics, incense and ointments throughout the Bible, essential oils are said to be used for anointing and healing the sick. Today, essential oils are used for aromatherpay, massage therapy, emtotional health, personal care, nutritional supplements, household solutions and much more.
