My dad has kidney failure and is 90 .
My dad almost died in may/june it has been a very trying time for me but he has survied the unthinkable and seems to be doing ok for now but I know this is far from whats yet to come as we all know kidney failure is fatal. My dad had many blood tranfusions regarding anemia,so I will take what rest I can now and brace myself for what is yet to come.I was lucky enough to find him a Nursing Home close to wear I live so I can walk to visit him. I just lost my mother and my sister 6 months apart.I want to thank all the staff at EmpowerHer for all your support .I am getting through all of this because you are there for me,God Bless u all.
I don't have the type of friends I would appreciate having and I don't like talking about stressful situations that I go through. I try to speak of the positive things in my life and do my best to be optimistic no matter what the out come because everyone these days has their own stuff to deal with, and only when I go for walks with my dog Teddy do I end up meeting up with people but rather not speak of my personal life I try to keep it light hearted I feel better just meeting up with them and speak about neighbourly fluff. That is why I have Empowerher because you understand and that is enough for me,thanks again

My family lives far from me and we are not as close as we use to be unfortunately but are cilvilized to each other thats all I can ask for,I am the main care giver over my dad,so I rather not speak with family regarding my stress it would only cause uncomfortable feelings.
