Husband many chronic illness

My husband of 41 years has multiple illnesses, today I just feel hopeless

It helps to have a place to go to where there are others who really understand the frustration of being a caretaker to a very ill husband. I look forward to this. My husband and I have just been married 7 years but he has been sick nearly the entire time.

Hi Julie,
I just joined this site because I too have a husband with multiple illnesses and am feeling hopeless as well. We have been married 22 years, but have been together for 28 years.

As horrible as this sounds, it is nice to know that I am not alone in this unhappiness. Though, I would never wish this life on anyone, it feels good to know that there are others that know the loneliness of taking care of a chronically ill spouse.

Julie, if you find this message, tell me your story and maybe together we can support each other. Having a friend that knows what it is like can be priceless.
