if addiction is as much an issue of how the activity makes us feel when we indulge in it..then sex addiction is indeed real..as it provides a hormonal and chemical reaction in the body and brain that provides sensations of well being or escape or whatever that a person can soon learn to crave...and search out just as certainly as any other addiction..
There is no doubt. If you don't believe it, read the book "The Brain that Changes itself" or "Cupids Poisoned Arrow" . Here is a great article on the relationship between orgasm and neurotransmitters, the brain, and dopamine's role in addiction. Great information.
