Ive been on birth control for 15 days. i had unprotected sex earlier today and my boyfriend (i guess) almost didnt pull out in time and got sperm on my vagina lip. (not sure if he got any inside. i didnt feel anything). but the reason im freaking out is because i was 30 mins late taking my pill yesterday and the day before i was an hour late and didnt take todAys pill until hours after intercourse (at 8 when im supposed to take it) also, i got a depo shot 3 days ago to be more safe and efficent..

should i worry? i saw the rest of his sperm on the bed sheet, if any did get inside it was minimal.

Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
In general you should take either the pills or the shot, not both at the same time. It will greatly conflict your menstrual cycle using both methods.
Even though you took the pill irregularly, the shot my still be affective.
At this point its difficult for me to say how protected you were. It will depend on whether or not that was you first depo shot.
If you have always taken the shot regularly, you were probably still fully protected from that.

It does not work for the first 7 days after the very first time you take the shot. If this is not your first time taking the shot, that rule does not apply.
