I lost my insurance when I got divorced and can’t afford anything I’ve seen
I’m 51 and haven’t had a mammogram in 5 years but found a lump under my arm pit

Hello Anonymous, it's good that you're looking out for your own best health.

The Florida Department of Health says the state's Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program makes it easy to get the breast and cervical cancer screenings doctors recommend. The screenings are free or low cost if you meet program eligibility requirements. There are many BCCEDP sites located throughout Florida.

To see if you qualify, call your County Heath Department  or call the American Cancer Society National Hotline at 1-800-227-2345 to get more information on the program.

Hope all goes well, Pat
