Hello Anonymous,
It is a degenerative disease, so I do not think it can be cured but rather symptoms can be managed. As far as being able to play cricket again, that is something to discuss with your healthcare professional.

Hello Anonymous
Degenerative: (of a disease or symptom) characterized by progressive, often irreversible deterioration, and loss of function in the organs or tissues.
Are you asking about yourself? Please speak with your physician.
Spondylolysis is a specific defect in the connection between vertebrae, the bones that make up the spinal column. This defect can lead to small stress fractures (breaks) in the vertebrae that can weaken the bones so much that one slips out of place, a condition called spondylolisthesis.

Hello Anonymous,
This is basically another term for spondylolisthesis.
Anterolisthesis is a spine condition in which the upper vertebral body, the drum-shaped area in front of each vertebrae, slips forward onto the vertebra below.
The amount of slippage is graded on a scale from 1 to 4.
Grade 1 is mild (less than 25% slippage), while grade 4 is severe (greater than 75% slippage). The symptoms of anterolisthesis can vary greatly depending if and how much the slippage pinches the nerve roots and what area is affected.
A fracture and anterolisthesis are two separate things. A fracture can heal.
Anterolisthesis can be treated. I am not qualified to say it is cured.

Hello Anonymous,
I am not a physician and will not offer an opinion. That would be unethical and a disservice to you.
